L Remember, O Lord, your compassion and
love, for they are from everlasting. You are gracious and upright, O LORD; therefore
you teach sinners in your way. (Psalm 25:6, 8) Let us confess our reluctance to
be instructed in the way of the Lord.
L To
you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
C Remember not the sins of my youth and my
transgressions, but lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of
my salvation. (Psalm 25:1, 5, 7)
L You are gracious and upright, O LORD; therefore
you teach sinners in your way… for Christ suffered for sins once for all, the righteous
for the unrighteous, in order to bring us to God. (Psalm 25:8; 1 Peter 3:18)
