Lectionary 32

L       Examine my heart, melt me down; and find no impurity in me. Do not let me regard what others do and keep me from the ways of the wicked that my footsteps will hold fast to your well-worn path… (Psalm 17:3-5) Let us confess the ways we resist the Lord’s instruction.

Silence is kept for confession and refection

L       I will call upon you, O God, for you will answer me;
C           Show me your marvelous loving kindness and keep me as the apple of your eye. (Psalm 17:8)

L       May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and through grace gave us eternal comfort and good hope, comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word. (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)
