Lectionary 27

L            Refrain from anger, leave rage alone; do not be provoked; it leads only to evil. Put your trust in the Lord and do good… (Psalm 37: 3a, 8) Let us confess our lack of trust in the Lord and the good we fail to do.

 Silence is kept for confession and refection

 L       Be still before the Lord

C       I will “take delight in the Lord and commit my way to God who grants me my heart’s desire.” (Psalm 37:5)

 L       Wait patiently before the Lord, (for) you have been called with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to (the) grace given to us in Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. (Psalm 37:7; 1 Timothy 2:8, 10)
